As Percy mentioned we went to the vet today. Not my favorite experience, but not as scary as we thought. Unlike Percy I was there for more than a checkup. The doctor held me very gently (I don't usually like to be held but he was very nice about it). And listened to my chest with a stethoscope. Miss Renee was there with us so I only felt nervous and not scared. She tells me that kids have to visit a doctor too when they aren't feeling well and sometimes when they are for a checkup. She even said some of them are scared too. Well I have to tell you - going to the doctor is a good thing and its not scary. (But its okay to be scared).
Now here is what I'm told is wrong. I do not have a cold but I have a stomach problem. I have medication that I have to take (I don't like it much - it tastes awful) and a new diet (which I really like). But unfortunately the vet told Miss Renee that I need quiet and to be kept really warm, so I won't be able to visit with the library kids for two whole weeks. Percy and I are a little disappointed about that. Kids are really interesting to watch, but if I want to get better I have to do what the vet says. Over all its not that bad. Oh if you have to go the doctor the library has some great books to help not feel so nervous. Plus talk to a parent they'll tell you its not so bad. If Percy and I can go to the vet - kids can go to the doctor.
