It's been a while

Hi Everyone - it's been a while since we've had a chance to post.  Things have been very busy for us here at the library, right Percy? That's right Kyp.  Last we spoke you had just gotten over being sick. Hope that never happens again.  And summer reading was finishing up.  We missed a lot of that - too bad, it seemed like something cool.  It's okay Miss Renee says it'll be coming again next summer. 

Anyway, Miss Renee was gone for a while on something called a vacation.  We were a little nervous about that. Yeah we were - Miss Renee feeds us.  But we were okay because Ms Judy took care of us with some help from Miss Pat and Ms. Chris.  It was nice having a chance to rest after the summer and our trips to the vet and everything.  September was exciting, hundreds of kids visited the library for school visits.  That was pretty exciting. And noisy, yikes.  I don't know how the librarians do that. Anyway now we're back in the regular sessions of story time and after school visits.  Things have certainly calmed down. 

Now we're looking forward to something called Halloween. Oh I read about that a couple of nights ago.  It's a holiday were kids dress up in costume, knock on people's doors and get something called candy.  It sounds kind of cool. Wow - what's candy?  Do you think we'll get some?  I don't know we'll just have to wait and see.  I think the costumes sound really cool.  maybe I could be a cat for Halloween.  Nah, I want to be a duck. A duck - are you crazy Percy, it's just another bird.  Yeah but it's a bird that swims.  Well okay, you do like to take baths, so that makes sense.
