I'm so excited.  I'm glad that you all liked this book with me.  I find the pigeon to be absolutely hilarious.  I still think there should be a book about a zebra finch, but this book is a lot of fun in the mean time.  Sometimes while I'm reading it I fall off my perch.  I'm so glad that you liked this book as much as I did.

This book is great and I'm glad it won.  It's nice to see life from the point of view of the "pet."  You finally have an insight into what our lives are like as a library pet.  Though Humphrey is used to the same kids and learning a new set takes him a bit to get used to Kyp and I get to see different kids all the time.  Its so much fun, just like this story.  You just have to read this one!
