Have you seen our trees!? Percy and I woke up one morning a found the library filled with trees. Not just any trees, Kyp, these were special. I was getting to that. These trees are decorated. Now some of our friends have told us about something called Christmas and at first that's what we though they were. They're not you know. I know that - let me tell them! These are storybook trees. Percy and I went exploring the first night they were up and discovered that each tree is decorated according to a children's book.
There are four trees, based on four books in the library: Little Women, The Polar Express, The Lorax and Make Way for Ducklings. My favorite tree is the Make Way for Ducklings. It's filled with birds. I like The Lorax its very colorful and its a tree with trees! If you haven't stopped by the children's room you have got to get here. Miss Renee says the trees won't be here long, so get here as soon as you can before they disappear. Oh, Miss Renee has hidden a pickle in one of the trees and if you find it you can earn a treat! Oh, who doesn't like one of those - hey how did you know that anyway? Mom just likes me better. She does not. Does too. Not.

I don't like one of you more than the other - I like you equally. So please stop bickering. As to how someone found out about the pickle - a birdie has been peeking.
But it's true there is a pickle hidden in one of the trees. If you find it tell the librarian which tree and you can earn a treat. The pickle is a Bird Blog thing and will not be advertised elsewhere - so don't forget to look.
